Here’s the deal. Internet marketing has become a place where shoddy practices go on. In order to get an opt in, many marketers put out crap. They then trick people into giving their e-mail addresses and then some of these people sell poor quality second hand information at massively overhyped prices. Quite often, they haven’t even written the material themselves and if they have it is often plagiarised from other better marketers and claimed it as their own.

Most marketers have heard about “delivering value” but very few do more than pay lip service to it. I would even go as far as to say that most marketers don’t even want you to succeed. The more you fail and the more you flounder around in the dark, the more money you are likely to spend.

Here’s my advice. Seek out genuine marketers that have industry wide recognition, ethics that you admire and that all the other “gurus” listen to. Develop a sound business based upon long term goals and always act in the best interest of your prospects and customers. You don’t need to be a scoundrel to be successful and believe me it is far more satisfying building your success from strong foundations that you can be proud of.
